Why read this?

Facebook is rolling out another much wanted feature which allows you to embed Facebook posts on other websites just like twitter.

See how CNN website managed to embed a Facebook update onto their page.

Facebook Engineer Dave Capra said “Embedded Posts let people add public posts from Facebook to their blog or web site. When embedded, posts can include pictures, videos, hashtags and other content. People can also like and share the post directly from the embed,”

The move comes as Facebook increasingly tries to embrace the idea of public content despite its origins in private sharing.

This feature will only work with those posts whose privacy settings are set to public. You will see an option to Embed a post and it will give you a piece of code just like how Twitter or youtube does, and you can put that into your blog or news page. But sorry, At the moment, only Mashable, CNN, People, Huffington Post, and The Bleacher Report have this feature enabled.
